Education Abroad Alumni Transcripts

At the end of your partner program, you will be issued an official School of Record (SOR) transcript.  Some partner organizations send copies of the transcript to the Davidson Registrar's Office automatically, while others require students to request transcripts themselves.  Please check your program's policies carefully and pay attention to all communication from program coordinators regarding grades and transcripts.

Important Considerations

• It may take several weeks or even months for the transcript to be sent to Davidson.  If you have to request the transcript yourself, do so as early as possible so as not to delay the process further.

• Be sure to confirm that you have no outstanding balances or holds with your program, as otherwise the partner organization may not release your transcript.  

• If you took part in a Davidson faculty-led program, you will receive a letter grade for the course taken with the program's Resident Director, and it will appear on your Davidson transcript.  If your program also offered partner courses, you will receive a separate official SOR transcript for those classes.

Sending Transcripts to Davidson

You must send your official SOR transcript directly to the Registrar's Office in order for education abroad or away courses to be added to your Davidson record.. They prefer electronic copies sent via the Electronic Transcript Exchange or via email to [email protected]. Paper copies must be sent to:

For Davidson Alumni

If you are a Davidson alumnus and need copies of your education abroad transcript(s) for graduate school, job applications, etc. you must request them directly from the partner organization and/or the appropriate School of Record.  Most partner organizations have a webpage with the information you need.  Davidson College cannot provide copies of partner program transcripts.

If you need copies of your Davidson College transcript, please follow the instructions from the Registrar's Office.
